Join Our Team as Seasonal Staff in Western Austria!
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated seasonal staff for the summer season in Tyrol or Vorarlberg, Austria.
Exciting opportunities are available in hotels and restaurants across the region.
Your Responsibilities may Include:
• Mise en Place - Preparing and organizing ingredients
• Chopping & Slicing - Cutting vegetables, fruits, and proteins
• Cooking - Sautιing, boiling, baking, grilling, or roasting
• Plating - Arranging food attractively on plates
• Garnishing - Adding decorative elements to dishes
• Cleaning -Keeping workstations and equipment spotless
• Dishwashing - Washing pots, pans, and utensils
• Menu Planning - Assisting in menu creation
• Inventory Management - Tracking supplies and ingredients
• Food Safety - Following proper hygiene and safety standards
• Your exact tasks will depend on the type of kitchen (restaurant, catering, or hotel) and your specific role.
Skills
• Completed vocational training.
• OR good professional experience to work on your own and self-sufficiently in the kitchen.
• German language skills level A2/B1
• OR English language skills level B1
• Effective communication with the employer and team members - whether in German or English - is essential. It should always be clear and understandable to ensure smooth collaboration.
• You maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• You are friendly, punctual and reliable.
• You are eager to gain international experience and confident in taking on new challenges.
• You enjoy interacting with people and working as part of a team.
• You will need workwear for the kitchen. If you don’t have it, your employer will provide it – sometimes with employer branding. Whether you need to pay for it depends on the employer.
Working hours and place of work
• 40 or 48 hours / 5 or 6 days per week
• Including weekends
• Fulltime in morning, lunch or afternoon and split shifts
• Places of work: Companies in Tyrol or Vorarlberg
• With free accommodation and free meals
Start date
• Summer Season 2025
• Mai until October 2025
• Exact time frames can be clarified with the company, some open later or some will end the season in September, it depends on the region.
Salary
• At least 2.375,- € gross per month – UPWARDS !
• The payment is based on the collective agreement for the gastronomy in Austria with the readiness for significant overpayment (depending on training and professional experience).
• In May there will be a general (annual) increase in the collective agreement in the HORECA sector, which every applicant should keep in mind.
• Holiday and Christmas allowance extra (12th and 13th salary).
• Furthermore, free meals and accommodation are offered FREE.
Other information
• In principle, they all offer free accommodation and meals.
• But in newly built staff houses/flats, some employers charge around 50-100 Euros per month for cleaning, electricity, and water. This is deducted from the monthly salary. However, the income always remains in line with the collective agreement in Austria, so you don't earn less! Some leisure time activities like spa/wellness, gym, ski day tickets…, can be bought price reduced or some are free for staff.

Employer
The employer is a registered Austrian company. It has a service agreement for personnel search via EURES with the AMS Austria. Therefore, the NCO Austria will act as its representative.
