DESCRIZIONE/REQUISITI
Job description
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated seasonal staff for the summer season in Hotels in TYROL or VORARLBEG in western Austria.
Here are a variety of tasks that you may be responsible for:
-Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest arrivals and departures
-Correspondence: manage incoming e-mails
-Reservations: manage bookings and handle inquiries
-International guest services: provide information about the hotel and local attractions.
-Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing
-Room Assignments: Allocate rooms based on availability and guest preferences.
-Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails
-Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or issues promptly
-Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of guests and transactions.
-Security Checks: Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests.
Skills
-Completed vocational training,
OR good professional experience to work on your own and self-sufficiently.
-German and English language skills, both spoken and written, at B2 level.
-If you speak additional languages, it is an advantage, as we host international guests in Tyrol and Vorarlberg.
-You present yourself in a professional and competent appearance.
-You are the central point of contact in the hotel for the guests AND kitchen staff, service staff and housekeeping.
-You are approachable, empathetic and reliable.
-You want to gain international experience, and you have the confidence to go for it.
-You like to get in contact with people and work in a team.
-You need workwear like long dark skirt to your knees/long dark trousers, light-coloured long-sleeved top, dark comfortable shoes - if you don`t have it, you will get it from your employer – sometimes with employer branding – if you have to pay for this depends on your employer.
Working hours and place of work
-40 or 48 hours / 5 or 6 days per week
-Including weekends
-Fulltime in morning, lunch or afternoon and split shifts
-Places of work: Companies in Tyrol or Vorarlberg
-With free accommodation and free meals
Start date
-Summer Season 2025
-May until October 2025
-Exact time frames can be clarified with the company, some open later or some will end the season in September, it depends on the region.
Salary
-At least 2.243,- € gross per month – UPWARDS !
-The payment is based on the collective agreement for the gastronomy in Austria with the readiness for significant overpayment (depending on training and professional experience).
-In May there will be a general (annual) increase in the collective agreement in the HORECA sector, which every applicant should keep in mind.
-Holiday and Christmas allowance extra (12th and 13th salary).
-Furthermore, free meals and accommodation are offered FREE.
Other information
-In principle, they all offer free accommodation and meals.
-But in newly built staff houses/flats, some employers charge around 50-100 Euros per month for cleaning, electricity, and water. This is deducted from the monthly salary. However, the income always remains in line with the collective agreement in Austria, so you don't earn less! Some leisure time activities like spa/wellness, gym, ski day tickets…, can be bought price reduced or some are free for staff.
-Employers offer high appreciation of the employees.
-Health, pension, social and unemployment insurance from the 1st working day.
-Regulated working hours and days off.
-Exact time recording.
-A working atmosphere characterized by respect and mutual support.

Employer
The employer is a registered Austrian company. It has a service agreement for personnel search via EURES with the AMS Austria.
