Job description
If your school requires a compulsory
internship, you can complete this in Tyrol or
Vorarlberg:
Improve your German or Englisch
Gain experience in top hotels / restaurants,
which is very important for your further
career and it makes a very good impression on
your CV for future applications in Italy or
Europe
Earn money during the internship
You have free accommodation and free meals
Take the chance to make contacts for your

A contract is concluded with the hotel and
you
You are insured from the first day of
employment
The companies prefer at least 6 to 8 weeks
internship
You may work with a friends from school in
the same region
You get support on site by EURES Tyrol /
Vorarlberg

Requirements on you
You are used to work accurate and careful
You set tables for breakfast, lunch or dinner
or special occasions (birthdays, weddings, …)
You serve drinks and food
You talk with guests in German and

You clean the tables – work place

Skills
German and English language skills level
A2/B1
Effective communication with employers,
guests, and team members is key. This
communication should be clear and
understandable, always ensuring smooth
interactions.
You present yourself with a clean and tidy
appearance

You are interested to learn more in your

You want to gain international experience,
and you have the confidence to go for it.

work in a team
Working hours and place of work
40 hours- 5 days per week
Including weekends
Fulltime in morning, afternoon and split
shifts
Places of work: Companies in Tyrol or
Vorarlberg
With free accommodation and free meals

Summer Season 2025
6-8 weeks minimum
Internship between June and October 2025

Salary
MINIMUM SALARY if you are in the 3rd class
ready EUR 1.320,00 gross – upwards – the
company arranges this with you.
In May there will be a general (annual)
increase in the collective agreement in the
HORECA sector, which every applicant should
keep in mind.
Overtime compensation is calculated
additionally.
Holiday and Christmas allowance extra (12th
and 13th salary).
Furthermore, free meals and accommodaton are
offered FREE.
Other information
In principle, they all offer free
accommodation and meals.
But in newly built staff houses/flats, some
employers charge around 50-100 Euros per
month for cleaning, electricity and water.
This is deducted from the monthly salary.
However, the income always remains in line
with the collective agreement in Austria, so
you don't earn less!Some leisure time
activities like spa/wellness, gym, ski day
tickets…, can be bought price reduced or some
are free for staff.
Employers offer high appreciation of the
employees.

this interview, you will be informed about

Employer
The employer is a registered Austrian
company. It has a service agreement for
personnel search via EURES with the AMS
Austria.
Therefore, the NCO Austria will act as its
representative.
As we have to attach great importance to the
traceability and evaluation of the measures
within the framework of the PMS, all
applications will be preselected at minimum
once by the AMS EURES Advisor and in the best
case first by your EURES staff. In case of
suitability the application will be forwarded
to the employer. Therefore, direct contact
with the employer will only be made at
appropriate accuracy. If needed, we are happy
to forward the data of the employer to you,
but with the agreement that the data will not
be forwarded to third parties.
