Job offer description
Our Construction Department is looking for a Construction Project Manager, who will be responsible for construction management of renewable energy projects in Italy.
An ideal candidate will have experience of managing EPC contracts, proven expertise in HSE and construction management and ability to manage local operational constraints.
The position is based in Brescia, Italy and will report to a more experienced project manager based in Italy (based in Brescia, Italy) and includes permanent interaction with NEOEN’s project development teams and frequent trips and stays to construction sites in Italy.
Key responsibilities during the Project implementation phases: Construction, Commissioning & closing
The following list summarizes the main duties for the position during the Construction phase : 
• Planning / preparation 
- HSE, social & communities plan
- Site access and traffic management plan
- EPC logistic plan for equipment and services
- Reporting & communication
- Approval procedures
- QA/QC plan
- Project controls
- Documentation management
• Execution  
- HSE plan enforcement 
- Site mobilization
- Detailed design (by EPC)
- Day to Day construction management (coordination of stakeholders)
- Management of change (variations, extension of time, claims, permitting)
• Control  
- HSE and other compliance items
- Design approvals
- Quality Control of work achieved (quantity and quality surveys, corrective actions)
- Time schedule (detailed implementation schedule, critical path, gap analysis, corrective actions)
- Financials (budget at completion, payment claims)
- Project reporting
  The following list summarizes the main duties for the position in the Commissioning and Project Closing phase : 
• Planning/preparation
- Testing and commissioning procedures
- Commissioning test plan (FAT, SAT, practical completion, performance guarantees, final completion)
• Execution
- Supervision of EPC’s Commissioning tests
- Expedition of corrective works
- Pre-Start up safety tests
• Control
- Tests Documentation administration
- Compliance documentation (HSE O&M plan, as constructed drawings, construction & operation permitting change) 
Key Stakeholders relationships 
In order to fulfill his job, the Project Manager will interact with many actors if required, including:
NEOEN Development Team 
Owners’ Engineer
Lenders or their agents, Grantors 
EPC and other Contractors 
Regulatory Authorities 
Technical Consultants 
Land owners
Local officials
Job requirements
Project management background
(Process/civil/mechanical/electrical/utilitie s/ environment)
Minimum 3 years of similar professional experience, ideally in the renewables sector, or in the energy sector, or in the infrastructure / industrial projects sector.
Technical expertise of renewable energy plants and equipment such as wind turbines, solar PV, battery systems and/or associated electrical equipment is seen as a benefit
Past implementation of HSE and QA/QC procedures during project construction is also an advantage
Communication and negotiation skills
Reliability, accuracy, strong synthesis and reporting skills
Strong motivation to work in the renewable sector
Organizational skills 
Autonomy and leadership
Fluency in English and Italian

Duration of work experience: Between 2 and 5 years
