Job offer description:
FOR THE WINTER SEASON IN TYROL FROM DECEMBER
2024 UNTIL APRIL 2025 (easter weekend -
public holiday in Austria)
Working in a hotel or restaurant
Small, family-run businesses or large star
hotels, you have a wide choice
Available JOBS: Chef de Partie, Gardemanger,
Entremetier, Saucier, Patissier or Souschef
(m/f/d), Young chef, breakfast chef or commis
de cuisine (m/f/d)
Job requirements:
Completed vocational training
Good German OR Good English language skills
appropriate to the position
Organized, quick and accurate working
style
Familiarity with hygiene
regulations/cleanliness
Used to work in a kitchen team
Experience in seasonal work
Good taste and creativity
Pracital experience in a hotel or restaurant
kitchen is required (up to 1 year)
Used to preparation of meals on your own
Familiarity with hygiene regulations
The Restaurants are specialized in different
areas and it would be an advantage if the
candidate fits to some of them:
Knowledge of Austrian, Italian or French high
cuisine, traditional Austrian dishes or
International specialties.
Handling wood-oven (pizza), cold dishes or
sweet desserts.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, the
team is helpful and supports each other and
the working atmosphere is positive, friendly
and dedicated.
The candidates will have the unique
opportunity to work in a team with an award
winner – so called ”HAUBENKOCH”. However,
work can be stressful, so good nerves,
accuracy and professionalism are necessary.

According to the Austrian labour market law,
13th and 14th salary are aliquot.
Please do not forget that accommodation and
meals are usually free of charge with the
wage offer. (Maybe some ask for a small
contribution for electricity, water and
heating – e.g. 50 to 100 EUR).
A work permit or free access to the Austrian
labour market is required.
If you are employed all year round, you are
entitled to 25 working days of vacation. You
acquire 2.08 vacation days per month. So with
5 months of work, about 10-12 days off.
Some leisure time activities like treatments
(spa/wellness, gym, ski day tickets…), can be
bought price reduced or some are free for
staff.

Salary range (Monthly): 2000 - 3700 EUR
