Job offer description:
- You teach children, young people and
adults how to ski or snowboard
- In groups or in the form of
individual lessons
- Or you can look after them on site on
the practice slopes.
- You work in top ski regions.
Job requirements:
- For the position of an instructor:
qualification as trainer (Austrian
”Anwärterprüfung” is required)
- For childrens entertainer: relevant
qualification or experience
- Pleasure in working with children or
in training adults
- Friendliness and patience
- Sportiness and willingness to work
outside in winter
- Knowledge of German (level A2/B1) and
good English
- Additional languages are an advantage
(Dutch B1, French B1, ...)
- Work experience is required: up to 1
year
Recognition: Every foreign qualification must
be recognised in Austria, even if it includes
a CTT test. The recognition takes about 5
working days in Tyrol. In order to have a
qualification tested and, if applicable,
recognised for a job as a teacher at a
Tyrolean ski school, applicants must submit
an application for recognition to the
competent district administrative authority
in the district of their residence in Tyrol.

In order to be able to examine an
application, all necessary proofs of
qualification, such as in particular:
- Ski instructor examination certificate(s),
- ski instructor certificate (e.g. ISIA,
etc.)
- If available, CTT certificate or IMI entry
according to the Delegated Regulation of the
European Commission, including proof of EURO
test and EURO security test (is required for
recognition as a diploma ski instructor
examination).
-Comprehensible proof of the duration and
contents of the training or examination as a
ski instructor (how many days and which
theoretical and practical subjects did your
training or examination as a ski instructor
comprise?)
-In German language (if necessary, translated
in a comprehensible way).
